I hold regular “Introduction to Digital Photography” evening classes. They are aimed at beginners and those just starting out with digital photography, as well as those that have had a Dslr camera for some time, but need to get up to speed with it.
I have found that many people just leave their cameras on Auto and struggle to get a decent photo much of the time. The intention is to move you on from using Auto and to be comfortable with all the other modes available to you.
You will become familiar with all camera settings and have a better understanding of composition, aperture, shutter, manual mode, ISO, depth of field, metering as well as lots more.
The classes are informal and not theory heavy. We cover a different aspect of photography each week and it is hoped you will get a chance to put this into practice before the following night. Exclusive online notes are provided after every class.
These notes are only available for those attending the course and will help to cement what we spoke about that evening.
I’m positive you will have a greater understanding of your camera and photography in general when the 5-week course is over. I am always available via text, Facebook, Twitter or email to answer any questions you have.
The classes will last for 2 hours each evening. I normally hold them in Le Cheile Family Resource Centre in Linenhall Street, Castlebar. They run for 5 weeks and cost €100. (payable on the first night)
