Description
This black and white photo was taken as part of one of my photographic workshops. We headed to Achill Island and I walked up a small hill to see the view. By moving to a slightly different position, you can often get a totally different perspective on a location. The road winds off into the distance, highlighting the snow capped mountains. In photography, we can use leading lines like this to draw the viewers eye into the shot. In particular, black and white photos invite the viewer to linger a while longer on the scene. See here about my Workshops for more details.
