Description
The weather didn’t look so good but I decided to go out and try to get a photograph. I drove to the pier at Old Head just between Westport and Louisburgh. Between the showers, there was actually some nice light.
I’ve always liked the view of Croagh Patrick from this location.
Using a 10 stop filter allows you to blur the waves into this silky mist and knew it was going for a black and white image. The long exposure captured a little movement in the clouds that contrasted nicely with the mountain.
