Description
Lately, I have decided to search for the beauty in simplicity. This scene of Westport nestled at the foot of Croagh Patrick caught my eye as I drove into the town last week. I pulled the car onto the side of the hill, grabbed my camera from the boot and clicked off a few quick shots.
I will be producing a series of images that are simple and uncomplicated. They are mostly straight out of the camera and have minimal editing done to them. They will be typical Irish scenes.
Being out in the landscape on your own allows you to see it differently. You look, you listen and scenes usually present themselves.
On my workshops I discuss the various techniques I use to capture the landscape in all it’s dramatic beauty.
