This will possibly be my shortest post ever. I guess it’s a case of the picture being worth a thousand words. 😉 A few years ago I was experimenting with how I could shoot a profile photo during daylight and have the background dark.
Here’s how – Grab a brolly (the flash modifier type, not the rain type) and mount it on a lightstand. Insert your flashgun. Close the aperture down to F22, select a fast shutter speed. The idea is that you get a dark photo with just your profile in light. Use the timer or remote trigger to take the shot.
So I uploaded the photo to Lightroom and thought, “yea, that works”. It was only a few day later that I played around with the exposure slider in Lightroom. And this happened.
Grab the 2 headed arrow and drag to the left. I don’t know if this will work on your phone.
